I’m Shane Breedveld, a 29-year-old Games Producer from the Netherlands. However, seeing as you arrived on this page you want to know more than just my age and occupation.

I’m currently employed at Massive Entertainment – A Ubisoft Studio as a Project Coordinator specialized in Features, working on Star Wars: Outlaws.

I have a burning passion for game development and more specifically the management side. Growing up playing classics like Starcraft, Halo, Crash Bandicoot, and many more games, I quickly discovered that I wanted to become a game developer, especially once I got my hands on the map editors of Warcraft 3, Far Cry, Halo, and many more.

Through my high school years and jobs on the side, I and others recognized that I have a knack for management and supportive leadership. Being able to give constructive feedback whilst supporting and facilitating a team, which would usually lead to the team’s performance improving.

Shortly after high school at the age of 18, I moved abroad to Sweden, learning and graduating in the Swedish language, taking on a lot of responsibility and learning that I’m able to adapt to a new environment rather well.

It was also during this time that I was leading an online gaming community in World of Warcraft of over 100 members which thrived for over 4 years. Clearing the hardest content the game had to offer whilst managing this huge community at the time.
